ARTIFICIAL GREENERY DESIGNS
WHAT DOES AGD MEAN?
Artificial Greenery Designs is the full name of the acronym AGD. It is the term used to describe decorative elements that simulate trees, plants and flowers at their highest quality in order to touch realism. This terminology was first introduced in 2015 by the lead designer of spacegreen, in order to separate poor quality, fake and plastic flowers from AGDs. Now many companies have adopted the term without necessarily implying that they meet all the standards it implies.New designs, sophisticated construction materials and advanced production formats are constantly being developed in spacegreen's R&D department. Next time ask yourself, "Fakegreen or Spacegreen"?
WHERE CAN I PLACE ARTIFICIAL PLANTS, FLOWERS AND TREES?
Everywhere! From small domestic projects to demanding installations of increased quality and safety standards. Restaurants, bars, cafes, hotels, shopping centres, cruise ships, theatre stages, large stages, entrances to apartment buildings, chic living rooms, sunless bathrooms. The great advantage of Spacegreen's artificial plants, trees and vertical gardens is that they can be placed in any location you choose without worrying about the appropriate temperature, water supply, the damage that can be caused to buildings by moisture or the percentage of sunshine at the spot of placement.Browse our site and discover in the "Inspiration" section some of our projects with original applications for even more ideas.

WHAT IS THE RESISTANCE OF SPACEGREEN ARTIFICIAL PLANTS TO ULTRAVIOLET RADIATION?ARE THEY ALSO DESIGNED FOR OUTDOOR USE?
The artificial plants, trees and vertical gardens of spacegreen are made with materials of the highest standards to withstand UV rays and protect the colour and composition of their foliage for a long time even in the most adverse conditions. However, exposure to excessively high temperatures and sunshine conditions of some of our products may slightly reduce the "vibrancy" of the foliage colour over time. In order to enjoy our products unaltered for years we recommend protecting them and not exposing them directly to conditions that could deteriorate them. Consult the characteristics of each product for maintenance instructions as well as specific labeling for outdoor use.
WHAT ARE ARTIFICIAL PLANTS MADE OF?
Spacegreen's artificial plants, trees, flowers and vertical gardens are made of high quality materials. Foliage made of polyester fabric, natural or fiberglass trunks and branches made of high quality, environmentally friendly PE for greater durability over time. Our Quality Control department ensures their excellent standards with strict controls and continuous quality tests. As the design becomes more plural and the requirements grow, we encounter the use of materials such as fiberglass, silk, rayon and specially treated cotton, so that the trunks and foliage closely resemble real plants and their durability over time increases exponentially.

CAN I COMBINE ARTIFICIAL WITH REAL PLANTS?
ARE ARTIFICIAL TREES AND PLANTS ECO-FRIENDLY?
The purpose of artificial trees and plants is not to replace natural ones. They are ornamental, highly aesthetic elements whose use is proposed where nature is impotent or where the cost and time to maintain them are considered prohibitive.

The main reasons why the use of AGDs is a sustainable and environmentally friendly solution are:
REUSE - RECYCLING - LIMITED ENVIRONMENTAL FOOTPRINT
Flora is not a disposable product. Perhaps one of the greatest environmental crimes committed every day is the cultivation of plants and flowers for the purpose of selling them as limited-life products.Cut flowers that will only stay alive for a few days or plants that will be forgotten by their owners because they have no time available or are expensive to maintain. These conditions are a great waste of energy and an even greater moral hazard as we allow the slow death of biological organisms in the places where we live, work and play.Huge amounts of energy and pesticides are consumed every day to grow them in greenhouses in the Netherlands, England, Kenya, Colombia, Israel and, respectively, to transport them in energy-intensive refrigerators to customers around the world. It is estimated that the carbon dioxide emissions associated with flower cutting are as high as 3kg of CO2 per flower. In contrast, spacegreen's artificial trees, plants, flowers and vertical gardens are mass produced, packaged and transported, made from environmentally friendly materials and at the end of their use they can be recycled!
ARE ARTIFICIAL PLANTS HYPOALLERGENIC?
One of the main advantages of using artificial plants is the absence of allergies due to their construction materials (according to the usual allergens).Of course, this is not enough in itself as it requires the recommended maintenance at regular intervals to avoid the accumulation of dust on their foliage.
