PRODUCT WARRANTIES
Statutory Warranty under Applicable Law
All products distributed by AMBARARAM LION BREEDERS G.P. are covered by a two (2) year statutory warranty, in accordance with European and Greek consumer protection legislation (Law 2251/1994 as currently in force).
The statutory warranty is valid from the date of purchase and applies exclusively to private consumers acquiring products for personal use and not for professional purposes or resale.
The commercial warranty applies exclusively to products purchased by consumers with a retail receipt. If the transaction has been carried out with a sales invoice issued to a business or professional customer, the commercial warranty does not apply.
What the Statutory Warranty Covers
- Free repair of the product, or
- Free replacement of the product
- Price reduction or contract cancellation (withdrawal) where repair/replacement is not feasible
The choice of the appropriate remedy is determined based on the legal provisions, conditions and limitations set by the law.
Burden of Proof of Lack of Conformity
- If a lack of conformity appears within 1 year from delivery → It is presumed to have existed at the time of delivery
- After the first year → The consumer bears the burden of proof
Cases Where the Warranty Does Not Apply
- Damage due to misuse or improper maintenance
- Repairs or modifications performed by unauthorized technicians
- Normal wear and tear due to aging
- Damage caused by improper transportation or storage after delivery
In all cases, the consumer must provide the proof of purchase.
